Qajar Streaks: 10 Year Anniversary
The popular 'Qajar' series - as seen on the BBC - combines surreal imagery with bright colours for a more contemporary take on Persian history. These series have been widely covered by the press including the BBC. The Qajar Streaks were first seen in 2013, and are now in their fourth series.

"The 'Streaks' series represents the foundation of my art. my trademark use of acrylic paints and a spatula. Multiple colours combining to create whirlwinds of energy on the canvas. This is my signature style, and no two are alike. The chaotic mixtures of colours resemble flowing lava, and tickle the senses with movement. I create these paintings in various sizes and colour combinations. Then...I paint images from my imagination on them. It all flows from the spatula, untainted by planning and therefore free of constraint."
Super Streaks: Heroes 2024 Series
Super Streaks
The Super Streaks were first introduced in 2015-6. The streaks foundation is laid with a spatula before the super heroes are painted into the blended colours. The first series included six paintings - mostly large 100cm x 100cm canvases. Some covered in resin. For 2023/4, four smaller sized Super Streaks are being planned to celebrate the originals.

Streaks refers to the blended colours that create the foundation for the 'faces' and characterisations seen in various themes. The series started in 2010 with streaks that were then formed into pop culture, historical or fantasy renditions.
